In the transition of the building housing the Düsseldorf art collection between the art collection and the surrounding city, Kuball showed a double projection of Stadt durch Glas works. Kuball combined the footage of Düsseldorf. with two twenty-minute trips through Moscow, one by day, the other at night, which were also shot through a drinking glass in front of the camera lens. Kuball calls this form of presenting distorted images of the city in public space, which he employed here for the first time, "urban screenings."

Oriented toward the binocular system of our vision, Mischa Kuball shows a camera trip synchronized on two screens. The journey through New York at night in 1997, filmed through a glass, goes from the South Bronx to downtown Manhattan.
Stadt durch Glas / Düsseldorf, 1995, Konrad Fischer Galerie, Düsseldorf, 1995/1996
In synch, the two monitors show a video, Stadt durch Glas, a camera trip in Düsseldorf shot on the way from the studio (via detours) to Konrad Fischer Galerie. During shooting, a drinking glass was mounted in front of the camera lens.
