Opening of the annual exhibition: "Leap of faith: Transmediale Fotografie"

As part of this year's “düsseldorf photo +”, the Nordrhein-Westfälische Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Künste is showing the annual exhibition “Leap of faith: Transmediale Fotografie”, thus forming a new, interdisciplinary cross-section of photography that the Academy will be presenting in future. With their works, including Mischa Kuball's series of CTs from 2011, a total of 23 artists pose questions about contemporary photographic art: Can we still trust contemporary photography in times of artificial intelligence? Has it become a matter of faith? And can it take the risky leap towards a new orientation in the world?
The NRW Akademie cordially invites you to the opening on May 15 at 6 pm. The exhibition will also be accessible at certain times or by appointment until September 15.
