Reopening of the monheim_cube

Mischa Kuball and Mayor Daniel Zimmermann cordially invite you to the reopening of the permanent installation monheim_cube. The light and sound artwork will be activated at dusk.
The monheim_cube in the city center is located on the shopping boulevard between the bus station and Eierplatz. Its 5 x 5 x 5 meter construction consists of framed LED panels and forms the contours of a cube. A few steps further on, its basic shape is embedded in the ground as a luminous square. The walk-in light installation reacts interactively to the movements of passers-by: Controlled by sensors, it lights up brighter and more dynamically the closer you get and unfolds a symbolic power all of its own. The play of light is complemented by a sound installation that can only be heard inside the monheim_cube using special audio technology.
