playtime (domestic version)
2014
playtime (domestic version) is a site specific proposal in relation to Jaques Tati‘s famous movie ‚playtime‘ - where the beauty of urban structures lies hidden in anuncertain identity - and the ‚city‘ itself appears just in the moment of a reflection in modern architecture; playtime (domestic version) is going to provide the attitude of a glimpse, a very short moment of discovery - and longer moment of disappearing.... The 3 selected used windows also refer to a specific period of architecture - but at the same time they are displayed (sic!) and disconnected from it‘s original context; again we are confronted with fragments, bits and pieces, the city as such stays unrevealed, a hidden secret - a sacre du temps moderne!
